  Had to move to Vimeo, the music censorship on Youtube is a real pain!!
  My knowledge of music is almost as great as my ballfoot kicking knowledge, if you and Ian can think of some songs for the next three vids, it would be much appreciated, otherwise its going to be ”Honda,Honda,faster,Faster” for them all lol.

Hoy dave, That Vimeo seems a bit better quality on full screen or is just that I’m going a bit p.c blind with all this hard work I’m doing in the workshop today……NOT !!
I’ll think of a couple of good tracks you can use tonight.

  Thanks for that, it’ll be a couple of hours before I’m ready for the tracks to go on (I’m going to have an emergency power nap first) anything that teenagers would like is most probably not suitable lol. Whens your Mrs. going to finish your blog, you’ve been stuck in Athens for weeks!!!

Excellent Video. Nice scenery and weather on your travels. I’m going to have to check out Vimeo, or should I wait a while to see if they silence your sound first. LOL.

also I want to mention that Linda’s video is first class too. She is quite the animator, I suppose you take after her . . . the creative side of the family so to speak. You are so lucky that she puts up with you

  Its not just WMG that filters YT, they have also allowed EMI to filter also, as I found out this morning, so gave up with YT and gone over to Vimeo where there isno filtering as yet!! Some foreign corperation based in China, Russia or here, where there is no copyright law could take over very quickly from YT who must be very vulnerable right now!!

You had better learn how to play a harmonica really fast to make your own audio track

I have had problems with audio on Youtube, with them taking away my sound. That was the reason I stopped making videos for a long time. I had another plan and I have a library of original works that I will be using soon. You have to be careful of copywrited materials, so I only “go” for original music in public places, such as outdoor stuff (Not concerts where you have to pay to be admitted). My videos have their own sound, but when I take a lot of still pictures to make a slide show I will have copywrite free music to play.

jamendo.com for royalty free music, I have used some of this music before.

- …Yep read the article, Vimeo do not accept commercials or commercial/selling/advertising videos, the bloke should have read the small print (which is actually quite large) he got caught out and is now whining like a little girl…just get another host and move on!!

- No need to learn Russian….Tap the address in to Google Translate (http://translate.google.com/) I did it, its exactly the same as Youtube….The quality looks top notch too!!
