DAY 16 – RIDING AROUND RICHMOND

Our mission today was to source traditional Fish and Chips, we followed Ian and Bev on their BMW R1100R, today was much warmer, almost 12c when the sun broke occasionally through the clouds blanketing the sky releasing a little light rain every now and then to remind you they were there.

We stopped off in Darlington and bought proper padded motorcycle jackets, one each, they were on sale only 50 Pounds.

Ian is selling his BMW and is looking at V Stromms or Transalps for their big bike trip this summer, so he and Bev had a test run on my bike to see what they thought of Transalps.

We stopped in Richmond town centre to see if we could find a Yorkshire sticker, but it was too late in the day and some shops were closed.

  1. I think I rode through Richmond one weekend some years ago, your friends always have strange facial expressions in the photos, Bev always makes crazy faces and your mate, gay faces, it makes for entertaining photos lol.

    • Hi James,

      Bev crazy??

      Ian Gay??

      The camera never lies…………..lol

      • To be fair he’s not gay, the strange stance and facial expressions are due to Hemorrhoids !!

  2. That explains it then lol, my Grandmother had that !!

  3. Ha,Ha,Ha. Hemorrhoids !!
