Click the link below for the YOU TUBE videos of two bikers who toured 13,000 miles from Utah to Panama. One rider on a BMW 1200 GS and the other on a Kawasaki KLR 650 (after his old road bike broke down en-route) A funny and well produced homemade video of their trip.

All the best to ya guys

    • Hi Berge,

Yes it takes 2 hours to watch the videos of thier trip, but it goes to show what a normal person with a video camera can cobble together, it kinda made me think perhaps I should buy a video camera for our trip, but then again this is yet another aspect of technology we know nothing about lol.

  2. Dave,
How much do you have to know in order to point a camera and shoot a small clip….?
You can probably pick-up a relatively inexpensive Gadget (Maybe not in Turkey) and start…but whatever you do make sure you guys document the trip. It could mark the beginings of a Fabulous book on riding throughout Europe.

    • Hi Berge……just been looking on Curry’s website (big electrical retailer UK) digital camcorder things start at 30 quid (43 USD)
Amazing…the last time I used a camcorder was 1994, they were all tapes and you had to edit with scissors, then copy to something else, only then could you play it in your VHS video recorder…..and to be honest the quality was crap. A friend of mine bought a camcorder in 1999 and that was not much better quality also, and still took tapes….how things have moved on since 94 untill now, gonna vist Curry’s for sure when we reach UK…and you can edit digitaly on the pc or laptop these days…so easy, a door has opened !!

      Cheers for that Berge,

  3. 1994….it’s all very diff now.
now new tech takes over and does a food job.
